FP at Oakland CA. May I walk in before the scheduled day?

You have to try. It depends, but if you can prove reason for absence (travel tickets etc.), they might be more considerate.
May I also re-schedule appointment in Oakland office in case I cannot walk in successfully to San Jose office?
You do not have to change the appointment to the San Jose office. Try going to the San Jose office or SFO office with the notice and say you are there for getting your biometrics done.
Explain to the security guard your conflict, who checks your notice, only in case he asks why you are there before the appointment date.
Based on what others have written, try a Wednesday, for the walk in.
Avoid Oakland ASC altogether in trying to do the early FP, very few people have had luck there with early FP.
Option 2, if San Jose ASC does not work try the San Francisco ASC. There are three ASC offices in the SF bay area.
Option 3, Oakland ASC one day before the actual appointment date. Again, explain to them why you cannot make it on the scheduled date.
Last resort, reschedule based on instructions provided on the biometrics notice, if San Jose or SFO walk in does not work.

I came back from San Jose ASC. Today is Wednesday, and I went to there around 2:00PM. There are 2 people in the line. The guard ask us (my family) why we are there before the appointment date. I explain to him my conflict. He let me waiting in the line. We finished the FP in 15 min. Thank you for your big help.
