FP and Service centers

I am readina lot abt ASC here . Are they servie centers like TSC ? . I thought only 4 existed.

Waiting for my FP notice ..
Anyone with exp. going to Miami . That where i expect to go if I get my notice..

MY details are:

I140/485 - 12/02/04 ND
I140 - 03/08 Appvd
FP - ???

You are right that there are four major service centers. A lot of people have started referring to the ATL FP center as the ASC. I am not sure if this is what its called but its not really a National Service Center. The four National Service Centers are still TSC, NSC, VSC and CSC.

the four major service centers are processing centers.... by region..

ASC is just 'Application supporting Center', for the convenient of people, they have local offices, for example, even though TSC is in texas, a Georgia guy cannot be called to Texas for finger priting ? ( assume family has 4 members, ) how much it cost to a regular joe ?, thats why they kept local supporting centers for people needs, emergecy cases etc !!

so accordingly ..I would be going to "MSC" Miami support center.

Is the way that FP notice is sent , dpeneds on the Load of these service centers ?

For example , I did not get FP notice yet because Miami is overloaded ?

yes, they do load balancing ... !!!

another thing is, you can go to any nearest ASC, even though you have not scheduled, but again its mercy of the officer !!
