FP and Name Check

Does FP and Name check have any connections. My 485 was denied and then re-opened. MY FP was done long back in Mar 2004. My case is not transferred to Newark for interview. I got another notice of FP and I got my FP done yesterday.

Has my name check been done? If it was done, will it be done again since FP was taken again?

Hello, I believe that FP is valid for 15 months but I do not know how long name check remains valid. Was your last FP older than 15 months? Did you get the new FP notice from Newark local office?

My last FP was done around Mar2004. So I guess they were proactive and sent me notice from Newak to get the FP done which I did yesterday.
