FP and Name Check

I am a bit confused about name check and FP, what's the difference? When FP is done, does that mean name is checked as well? Or is name check a completely separate process?

It Seems it is combination of different procedure, and Noone is sure about the exact procedure, all is understood that

After FP is taken they run some check to see if ur FP match to anyone criminals FP Database they have.

Name check is also a part of clearance even may be they find FP is cleared but name check is not. noone knows sure .

There may be other things that noone know about it.

But if u have concern that ur FP results have been sent back to center you can fax or email them. they would let u know.
