FP after I-485 interview

I was asked to retake FP after I-485 interview. They promised to send Green card directly to me after FP being cleared.
But how long it will take to go through the whole process?
I heard sb. has waited over one year after the second FP because they also want to run second name check....

That's true. My collegue process also caught in the name check after interview and fp. His 485 didn't get approved yet after his interview in Feb of this year. His lawyer told him name check is ordered. They have to get name check cleared if they want it.

Actually I called FBI, they said that the FP was sent back to USCIS on the same day of FP.
They said USCIS didn't order them to perform name check this time. I hope this is a good sign for not being dragged into endless loops.

Will retrogress affect peolpe who has been interviewed?

I was interviewed for I-485 last month. The approval was pending for finger print.
Will the retrogress thing afect such cases? My spouse's I-485 has been approved at the interview....
