There are different types of corporations you can form - the main differences are the tax structure, in one of the corps, you will be taxed twice as an income in your personal tax filings and also as an income to the company. In the other you will be taxed only once. Also there is a liability aspect - you will be held liable if the company goes under in regards to its payments. Also the company can still go on if you leave the company. It also depends on if you are employing some people.
