Mother became US citizen by naturalization Jan 2016 by marriage to US citizen(not the child biological father). Child born in 2005 in a foreign country lived always with mother only, came to US together on a K1-K2 Visa, and eventually became US permanent residents together, been in US since 2011 living with US citizen husband of mother. Biological father legitimated the child (at age 3) and she has his last name, all is written on the foreign birth certificate. However, he's always been absent living in Europe (no child support is received either). Do I still need to include a "proof of legal custody" of daughter along with N-600 form? We had an understanding only, never made it legal/formal that she is "mine" only.
PS: In order for me to be able to get her a US passport he sent a DS3053 form
