Form N 400 for naturalization

Do we have to send I tax return with the forms or take it during the interview.

Unless you have a condition which requires you sending tax return (or transcript), you just take it along to the interview.
Conditions:
#1. Filing under the 3 year rule based on marriage. Returns help to show that you live and file together.
#2. Too much travel or long absence. Returns help show that you paid your taxes even during your absences.
Maybe some more patterns ... you can decide based on your situation.
