FOrm I693 and I864

hi all,
I'm upgrading my wife's I130 application since I'm now a citizen. My wife is here on a work visa.

1. Do I have to send the INS the form I864?

2. Is the form I693 something that you send along to the INS or is it something that is taken to a designated medical person who in turn will then forward it to the INS?

ANy input will be much appreciated.

When your wife files I-485, she will have to submit I-864(completed by you) with it.


2. Is the form I693 something that you send along to the INS or is it something that is taken to a designated medical person who in turn will then forward it to the INS?
Your wife first visits the civil surgeon who after a physical examination would give her a sealed envelope (which is the I-693) with the results of the test and the vaccination record. She will need to include the sealed I-693 when she files I-485. Look here for a list of civil surgeons in your area.
