My case is long story...I will try to make it short.
I have been aporoved for Conditional GC and received my welcome letter. However, I'm still waiting for my actual card.
When I filed my AOS forms through with my attorney, he filed all forms with my maiden name which I didn't want. I wanted to have my husband's name. I called 1800 number for USCIS to see if I can change my last name in processing time. The answer was "NO". So, at interveiw, I asked the officer to change my last name. He said "No, I don't do it. You have to file form I-90". (I know that's strange. As far as I read some posts or heard about it, I can do it at interview. But he didn't)
So, I'm about filing the form. I need some help, please.
1) Where can I put my NEW last name?? There says "Family name" and "Given name" and area to put address and so for. Can I put New name on Family name?
2) Or if I can't, then please tell me where to put.
3) At part 3 on page 2, "if you entered the U.S. with an immigrant Visa, also complete the following." -----I came to the U.S. with my F-1 Visa. Is this an immigrant visa or non-immigrant visa? if non-immigrant, then do I skip this section?
4) Is my case qualified for E-Filing?
