Form i-90 asks for "mailing address" only - strange?

I'm about to file i-90 for GC renewal (due to expire). Have noticed that the application only asks for "mailing address" and has even printed a "c/o" on the address line. This suits me fine because I currently don't have a physical address under my own name, only a PO Box. But is it advisable to use a physical address rather than a PO Box so as not to "raise any red flags" with Immigration when they process my application? A friend has offered that I can use her address if I need to.

You're not homeless or living outside the US, are you?

If not, that means you do have a physical address, which is the place you sleep every night (even if somebody else's name is on the lease or mortgage or title). Use that address.
