Form I-134 Declaration of support!!!

Good day everyone!

I'm a DV lottery selectee and currently gathering required documents prior to interview.
My question is this, we are a small family of 3, and have a transferable liquid cash of over 60.000 USD. Do I need to still fill this form i-134 if I can show bank statement as proof?
And if I must fill it, can I sponsor myself and family without needing a US based sponsor?
 
It’s kind of pointless doing it yourself. You’d be referencing everything you’re going to show them anyway, right?
Are you interviewing in Sri Lanka? AFAIK its the only embassy that requires a i134. It’s always preferable, but your liquid assets are probably ok to overcome public charge concerns. Anticipate that they will likely ask what kind of work you and/or your spouse plan to do in the US as part of assessing it.

I can understand what you mean. I just wouldn't like to be caught off guard that's why. I want to tidy any concern the CO may have.
I'm going to be interviewed in Prague, Czech Republic.
