My mother is a US Citizen and in 2002 she filed a I-130 for my sister who at that time was married so she was in the Third Preference category. Last year my sister got divorced. My questions are:
1). What should be done to inform INS that there is a change in my sister'
marital status?
2). Will my sister' case get upgraded to First
Preference category?
3) Is my mother going to receive a second Notice of Approval after she informs the INS about the change?
4) Are there any complications from doing this?
