I was wondering if anybody knows how USCIS checks the employment history provided on the form G-325a? Would they call my old employers or ask them for any info about me? How does it work? Also, what about my previous adresses? What if I didn't remember when exactly I moved 4 years ago, can they check that?

They are not going to call.

My guess is that they are not going to call your previous employers. But having said, they can really check your employment via Social security taxes deposited through Social security administration. That's what lot of private employers do.

Regarding you move, it have to be exact date. You can estimate it. Atleast I did.

But my advice to make an effort to best estimate your employement and address history and that should be fine. (I am assuming you have clean criminal and immigration record)

thanks

Thank you mthakkar, I don't mind then checking with SS, I just wouldn't like them to call my old employer because of some personal reasons.

This is what I did, too, about my moving dates, I just put what I remebered, the dates are different though than those in my credid report for example, because I didn't always change my address in the bank on time. I hope it won't be a problem.

If anybody has more experience with this matter or knows for sure how it works, I will be gratefull for posting your opinions.
