Form 1722?

Dear all,

I received the interview letter for March 2005, today. I applied last year in November from NYC and was fingerprinted in April 2004.
For the interview, INS requires an original form letter 1722 from IRS, if you have been out of the US for more than 6 months.
Does anyone know where to find this letter? There is a form 4506t in IRS website to request a copy of your transcript, this is free but nowhere on the transcript 1722 is mentioned(this info is from other forums and other people's comments). You can also get copies of your tax returns for some fee for each year.
I appreciate any help in regards to obtaining form 1722.
Thanks.

Call the IRS toll free number and request form 1722 for the past 5 years. It is a consolidated summary of your tax information (your filing status, and a few other items). There is no charge for this from IRS...(you do not need to fill any form).
