forgot to send back my EAD after greencard, will it make any difference to USCIS?

I adjusted my status in the U.S and went to a greencard interview at the INS(now USCIS) office. Prior to that, I had a Employment Authorization Document card(EAD). At the end of the interview the officer she asked me for my passport to stamp the I-551 stamp and also my EAD card back. I had not brought the EAD card with me, so the officer told me to just mail it back. The officer wrote a little note and gave it to me. I didn't see the note again until today when organising my filing cabinets.

I forgot to do that and and now it's been funf years and I have no idea where the EAD card is anymore,. I am going to my naturalisation interview next week. Is this something that I should tell them or perhaps does the USCIS not bother with this? I do think that they pull up my case files from when I got my greencard so there may be possibility that they see notes about my not having returned the EAD card?

Please advise, thank you.

If it was something real important, they would have sent you notice 5 years back... just take that with you if they ask you about it... I can bet you $1000.00 that this will bot be brought up in the interview. Take my word on this!

Don't think so. During oath ceremony they will ask you to surrender all travel documents and one of the listed item was EAD (As far as I recall).

Nowadays they do not even ask to give back the I-94 on getting your green card. Since it is directly mailed after 485 is approved. I am keeping it as a souvenir. Also EAD is not a travel document and it explicitly says it in the card.
