Foreclosure and citizenship

I lost my job 3 months back.I can hardly survive another month with my mortgage.I want to know if i foreclosure my home will it effect my citizenship which i will be filiing next year.I dont have any other bad item on my credit or criminal history.

Credit history doesn't matter as far as citizenship is concerned. The problem is criminal record.

Go ahead and forclose your house, if this is your only option

Make sure you keep current with taxes, as that DOES affect citizenship.

Credit history does not affect your citizenship, you can go ahead with the foreclosure... You need to be concerned about the taxes and the criminal record thats it...
