updated from my post yesterday:

touched again this morning 6/23
(no faxes or enquiries from me; status still says FP2s rcvd, yada, yada, yada)
anyone else in the 6/22 'touch sweep' find the same thing?
Seemed to affect a lot of people with June FP2s

(yesterday's message)

Just checking my daily status online and notice a new touch date for me and wife today, 6/22. History is below. Message still refers to the USCIS receiving our FP2s on 6/12 though. This will be the third change in touch since late May. Any opinions what might be going on? Or did an IIO just brush against my stack?

damn.

Maybe there is some 'bot traveling through the pending case files touching everything every day now... this used to be an encouraging pattern, now I'm not so sure. Let's all hope for the best. It does seem to be affecting folks in a similar WAC series with recent FP2s.

Same here folks ...

My wife's and my case touched yesterday and then again today ...

Good news ... I doubt it!

still_waiting - are you in the 02 2XX series?

Wik,

Yes I am.

Why?

Just wanted to see if these touch date have commonality - they do. They are all wac 02 2xx with recent FP2s, so it might mean our stack has been assigned to an IIO to be next in queue for review.

I guess our case are circling around CSC to get all the needed stamps, and who knows when is the final stop. Next week, next month??? :)

Touched on 6/22 and then again on 6/23....

Damn...Just when I was starting to get excited! This certainly looks like a bot going around and touching the dates then...

BTW, I am in the WAC-02-1xx series with 2nd FP in June...I didnt send any faxes or enquiries either...

Kremnology

You guys remind me of western journalists watching the May Day parade at the Kremlin in the 50s and 60s. Everybody tried to predict upcoming changes in the hierarchy based on the distance of various people from the center of the stage.
I don't know what the changes in the 'last updated' time means but I don't think you can gather any useful predictions from it.

Perhaps not any more. But it used to be a decent indication of impending adjudication - scan some of the forums here for LUD change patterns which led to approval.

Hi,
my touch date changed today morning 06/23. I am WAC03106.. case and my 1st FP is going to expire on July 15th 2004

My Touch date changed to 06/23 this morning.
Did my 2nd FP on May 28th.
So for the movement on the Touch date has been 05/28,06/03,06/23.
Have sent in two faxes and also initiated a Status Inquiry by calling the National Customer Service. Called the CSC Emergency Hotline on 06/22 to find out what was going on.
Wondering if that triggered anything.

Observation-LUD teaser

This LUD (or touch date) has become a “teaser” for many people. Rather than LUD, I like the word touch date better because the date change flirts with you to mess with your brain. The LUD changes implies some USCIS adjudication officers logging in their computer, typing in notes, checking off the check list to see if some evidence is missing, and looking at faxes or inquiries to see if applicant is already complaining. They may be eating their hamburgers at the same time feeling pressures adjudicate complaining it is not their fault of all these delays but of bad management but now managers are telling them to adjudicate faster. When the adjudication officers flirt with you repeatedly, you began to think they are just flirting with you and say to yourself it means nothing. But, you see other approvals in this website close to your WAC number and you find yourself logging in again to see if they are still flirting with you to make sure they are there. We all hate to be ignored so we are happy see them flirt even though they may be merely teasing. When they flirt with us enough, they will give us an approval.

I was a little excited until I saw this thread but still have hope because this is the first LUD for my child's case since Notice Date. Child is under 14 so no fps required.
