For those who received RFEs

This is a question to those who received RFEs for pay stubs & W2s. I'm trying to figure out why some applicants get RFEs for pay stubs while others are just simply approved.

Did you submit copies of your pay stubs & W2s with your I-485 application?

I had not specifically submitted my W2 at the time of applying. My stupid lawyers fault. Good thing I changed him.
Could be because of that or the fact that I changed jobs before the 180 days were up..I am an AC 21 case.

my RFE is about W2, Fed Tax Returns and Pay stubs. But w2 is for 2001. When I filed my 485 on oct'2001, I gave all my previous tax returns 2000 and earlier. INS wanted 2001 documents.

GeeCee Saga, as you said you got RFE might be because you changed job before 180 days...how would INS know about it unless your company informs it?

I am also in the same state, changed job 2 months after RD, so would my case be still covered under AC21. When exactly did you change your job?
