I had my 2nd FP done without the notice from Vermont Center. My first one was done in Jan 2003, and I have replied 485 RFE early June this month. I don't want my 485 process being hold becuase of the expired FP, so I went to local office today, explain to the officer (I didn't use speedy approval of 485 as a reason). The officer is kind enough to give me a hand written notice. Then I took the notice to the support center and got FP done. it seems pretty easy and straight forward, except I waited in line for almost 4 hours for my turn to speak to an officer.
So for those are anxiously waiting for FP notice, you may try the same thing. I hope the early FP helpful for a speedy approval.
