For the RFE folks!

Online status for Myself and my wife, indicates that RFE was generated on April 2nd,04

My lawyer received Medical related RFE for me as i am the primary applicant. However, we haven't received RFE for my wife ?

Is it possible that my wife's RFE could be delayed in the mail?

Just want to know if both cases show RFE generated does that mean we both should get the notifications right?

Or, does that mean due to my case her online message is also updated?

Bummer!!!

I called the 800# they told me that if cannot generate original copies of my medical then i need to send a letter along with new medical so that the officer knows why i took medicals all over again instead of sending originals for old medical which was done 2 years ago.......................!!!

So the officer does not get suspicious that why in the first place the doctor has sent the photocopies.

please suggest if you were in similar situation.

Ok.. i got the answer to my quetion myself.

Just to update you. The RFE for my wife is for the same thing. It's for the originals to be sent for the medical.

not the photocopies.

so.....here we are back to square one..

Why the hell had you sent photocopies in the first place?

Dude, sorry if I misunderstood something, but why the hell did you send photocopies instead of the original sealed I-693 in the first place.

Anyway, believe me, they don't care, just get new medicals done, and this time send the original sealed ones. If you didn't send originals the first time, that was an oversight. And anyone with hallf a brain (I think the INS officers have that much) would not suspect youof anything, especially since you'll be sending NEW I-693 from an INS authorized doctor.

BTW, my theory is to go to a desi doctor (if you can) for the medicals. We paid big $$$ (compared to other doctors) to go to a hi-fi clinic, but they screwed up my medical (they didn't fill it correclty) and I got an RFE for that.
