For RFE people - 2nd FP notice after RFE response?

This is for the people who've got RFE and whose FP is expired -

Can anyone tell me if VSC is sending 2nd FP request only after RFE response is received?

We've rcvd RFE and have not yet responded to it. Our 1st FP was on 03/14 - haven't received 2nd FP notice yet. So just want to find out what protocol :rolleyes: VSC is following! (If any)

BCIS received my RFE response on 07/03/03. And my fingerprints expired on June 7, 2003.

But, of course, BCIS is in no rush to send me my 2nd FP notice. I have lost all hope and confidence in the system.

Nothing after that.

Have raised a status enquiry last Friday (7/25). We'll see what happens. Here's a pick-one lotto for u guys: The outcome of this enquiry will be:
1. Approval
2. Second FP
3. No action (letter reading out my online case status and some lame ass excuse about processing timeframe)
4. Transfer
5. A million US dollars compensation for all the anxiety and nervousness caused by this wait for the past 19 months!
 
It is really hard to tell how VSC functions. I had advised you to send the RFE response after sending the FP results. But I did not realize the fact that they would not send you the 2nd FP notice until they receive the RFE response. The reason could be that if you are unemployed or have decided to forego your AOS for any other reason, there really is no need for 2nd FP. Only after receiving the RFE reply, BCIS will know that all conditions for AOS have been met and you still want the AOS process to continue. Then they will send you the 2nd FP notice. That is what I think happened in my case. I am yet to see a person on this forum who has received RFE and FP2 notice at the same time.
