Hi Guys,

My wife and I will be landing on sat. I wanted to know :

1) which crossing is good to use - to go to canada , -to come back to USA ?
I saw three pacific, aldergrove and abbotsford - corresponding to
blaine, lynden and sumas in the USA ? which is good ? how long did
you have to put in for the immigration both ways ?

2) did you keep your I-94s or not ? I have a valid h1 visa form my prev
employer and a new approval notice from my current employer ...am I good
to travel in my visa + new approval notice ( since my older employer
has cancelled his petition ) ? or do I need to keep my I-94s ( both
from the airport + the approval notice) in order to come back ????

please respond
thanks

Hi tt tt
I am sorry I checked this message only today 26th. If you are going to land next saturday this may be useful. We landed in the pacific highway. We took I-5 north. It is just around 2 hours drive. Immigration work took just half hour and customs took another half hour. The immigration officers are very polite and helpful.Whilce returning we had to only show our passport from the car. Remove the I-94 from your passport. Keep it safely in a different place. If you want any further details write to email: rana8689@hotmail.com. If you are in Seattle you can even talk to my husband. He will give perfect guidance.
Wish you good luck.
