for OCI US Passport still not received

After my documents received from delhi reached chicago on 22 dec
then i mailed my us passport and indian passport for cancellation

called yesterday they have my u sticker from delhi but they dont have my us passport.

they said it might have lost in the mail also i have the usps registered mail conforming it has delivered.

so who is responsible now i have to apply for a new us passport

what should i do

Ouchhh!!! Sorry to hear that.I always wonder who to blame in situtation like these.I would start with USPS and get nbame of the person who signed for you package..Good Luck..
