Planning to get married to British born citizen soon.

Question: When I apply for I 485 (under Cross Chargeability) both for me and my future spouse. Does she need to be in US?
She is allowed to travel US for 90 days (Since she is British Citizen).
In other words, does she need to get H4 visa once we get married in order to qualify for AOS?

My plan is this way. I go to UK in month or two. Get married their (in UK). After I come back apply for I 485 (for both of us). If I need any documents for my spouse like medical exam and stuff, she will prepare in London and send it to me. I will have my medical exam done here once I come back.

She is not planning to move here soon even though we get married. She will make short visits like for interview and stuff. Please let me know if this thing will work. Will appreciate any points. Thanks.

It looks like no has clue!!! I found one thing very interesting here, there is tons information here but 98% info you already know. When there is something little complicated comes around..no one has clue. Anyway, It just what I experience here. Peace.

I think participants of this forum just avoided, a similar question was posted in in a thread and received replies but unfortunately within six weeks of marriage he forgot I485 and was found in "Separation Thread". The person who replied has stuck in Guilty Checks in addition to other checks.
So you are lucky...Happy Marriage

I don't know who you talking about and not sure what is it got to do with my question !!! But thanks anyway for attention.
