For how long is a green card medical exam valid?

I had my medical exam in 2005 when my I-485 was submitted concurrently with I-140. I-140 was approved in 2005 and I-485 PD is current now.

had to do biometirics twice, once in late 2005 and once in early 2007.

but I don't know if the medical exam in 2005 is still valid on not. Do I need a medical exam again?

It is normally valid for 12 months, but they annually have been publishing a memo that extends the validity of already-filed medicals. The latest extension is until 1/1/2008. See the link below for the memo.

Hi jack, did you see any movement in your LUD in last 2-3 days?

I went for my second fingerprinting today and when I got home and checked it this afternoon, the LUD got changed to today's date. But the status message isn't saying anything new, and the last time the date or message changed before today was when they transferred my case to Texas a couple months ago.
