They never stop do they?
I remember the 1995 (the article is incorrect) milk drinking incident. As engineers, my friends and myslef went to investigate the phenomenon. A woman tried her best to "feed" the milk and when nothing happened she was embarassed at being watched by 7 curious students and finally dumped the milk on the idol and walked away!
This must be a trick by the lamp oil people or some other diya manufacturers. Somehow people are sold on things like flowers falling from portraits and kumkum ( a red religious powder) flowing from idols.
But its always funny.
