Tufan, I have told myself not to check my status
for a week. However as per your request, I looked them again. "Last update time" remains the same for all my cases.
Tufan, I wish our next "Last update time" changes would signal our approval. I have never been so optimistic before. Let us both be patient for about 2-3 weeks and see. I hate to check the status everyday and see the same thing now. As we are aging, it never changes.
I will update this thread when I have something to say.

Thank God it turns out to be true for most guys with recent RFEs. Also looks INS is clearing 2003 RFEs too.

i agree with you on the RFE. When the TIER II immigration officer told me that RFE has been generated on March 11th, i kept on waiting until March 26th, when i requested a service request. On April 2nd the notfications were sent out.
All we can do is keep our fingers crossed. We have waited for 2+ long years, 2-3 months are painful as one is always waiting for the outcome as we have done everything from our side. Let's see what happens in couple of weeks as you said.

Tufan, received email of approval from USCIS for AP
Last Update Time for AP is 4/29/04, Online status says it was approved on 4/28/04. The AP status update info has Not been incorperated in I485 yet. Maybe it will, maybe not. Looks like my wife's EAD approval info was put into her I485 case.

When i saw email from Fanshan................!! Man you almost scared me. All the heat beating is in the light of excitement.
When i read it was AP, then i was a bit disappointed. I was hoping for an approval for you. (As you know it's tied to me as well).. HE HE HEE>>>
But congrats for the AP. and thanks for updating as always. No movement on mine. Hopefully next week. Someone has predicted May 3rd for my approval.
My prediction for you is May 1st. Or even tomorrow 4/30/04.

No RFE , multiple enquiries stating name and background check
was told by senator's office completed in march wait for 30 days.
Was told spouse FP not done and the notice was sent/ processed the same day. Spouse did second FP March 2003.
Also said the processing for both cases will be done separtely per request.

I wish i could tell you more than what you have already done. U R also a 2001 sufferer like most of us. The only thing i can think of is you can try calling 800# and request to speak to an immigration officer as your within the processing dates and maybe the officer will give you more information.
If the Senator office said 30 days then you might want to follow up with them as they always follow up with vermont if the time specified earlier has passed.
These are the only two things you can do and wait just like most of us.
Since you already had your 2nd FP's done, you shouldn't worry too much. I am sure you'll get an approval by next month.
not everybody gets RFE. So don't worry.

I'll like to be excited for myself, however i am a very unlucky guy!! As i always get things late in life. That's for the fact. Therefore, anything good that has to happen to me happens 2 years down the road.

I have this theory and i have seen it work. They are working on cases whose 2nd FP's were done in Sep/Oct of 2003. Provided your FBI/name check is cleared, and your done with RFE then for sure you'll get approval in May!
It goes for all Oct/Nov/Dec 2001 filers including Jan2002.

Even though i check this site from time to time, I do not think my approval will happen before 5/15, by when they have received my RFE for 30 days.
Moreover, the current drought and the frequent USCIS reforms like pilot program, denying-without-RFE move will probably delay our processing further more. They have too many freaky ideas.
Last update time is still 4/20. So you called Senator? Calm down buddy. Lets wait until 5/15. I wish i could be busier in my work. U not busy at your work?
