BPBJHL042002, you said that you resent your reply to RFE because your case status wasn't updated one and half months after you sent your first reply. I'm in the same situation. I have two questions. I'd appreciate it you could let me know: 1) did you know that Nebraska didn't get your first reply before you sent your second one? 2) did you use special envelop & forms when you sent your second reply? Please let me know. Thanks a lot!

I am not sure if NSC had received my first RFE. My paralegal called many times back then and their reason that they gave were "mailroom backlog". Even our company Immigration Specialist vouched that IIO reason is valid. So, I had to sit and wait for 6 weeks like my lawyer suggested. He said that if he remailed it, it will confuse the heck out of the IIOs since they have to pull the file out again. As far as I know, I don't think you need any special envelopes to mail the RFE back, not to my knowledge. I did see a copy of the RFE and it did not mention anything about special envelopes. It does say that the RFE that NSC sends out needs to accompany the RFE reply. Hope this helps. Push your lawyer and see what he says. Hang in there.

Hi friends..I am planning to resend my

RFE response too,and this time I shall by pass my idiotic lawyer.
can you tell me if sending by UPS is ok??as my lawyer said it has to be sent by US mail with acknowledgement only
I am so messed up rt now,I want to kill all immigration lawyers.

Hi Jack -

Know that feeling... :D

As far as I know, they resend them via US Mail with the tracking number. The first reply was sent via US Mail with tracking number too. When I check those two tracking numbers with the US Postal Service, they both showed delivered to NSC. I did asked about UPS and FEDEX. Answer: No. Reason: they don't accept FEDEX or UPS, which I think is full of balony!
