FOR AUGUST RDs ONLY

This is what I feel is happening at VSC for August RDs

05/25/02 -> My Friend (EAC-01-278-XXXXX) got Medical RFE
05/29/02 -> Some one with RD 08/13/01 got RFE (from this board)

This makes lots of sense, because RDs are in sink with RFE dates

06/12/02 -> My Friend replied for RFE
07/12/02 -> My Friend (EAC-01-278-XXXXX) got his approval

07/12/02 -> My Case (EAC-01-281-XXXXX) no news

My case is just three dates after my friends, but no news not even RFE. It's been over a month that my friend got his RFE.

Looks like My case is waiting for results from IBIS Security System
or VSC is only processing EB3 cases for month of August or with in
the month they go my PD's. Then only it makes sense that I did get any sort of message from AVM for my case.

My friend's PD is April (EB3) and mine is August (EB2).

One thing I can say, VSC always does good work. I say this from my past expo. I-485 is very complex and timing factor really varies
from case to case.

Plz, U don't have to trust this information. I wrote this info to educate me and also few others who are really frustrated with I-485 processing times.

My RD is 09/04. I have no idea when the end will be.. this long long suffering makes me seriously consider whether immigration to US worthes the efforts and compromise.

For the 'rosy' American dream,

I gave up my 7 years medical education,
I rushed to CS, but CS is down,
I droped my Ph.D program from a top school with intention to solve GC problem eariler. But 4 years from then, I am still waiting.

what is the American dream?? Waiting, anxiety, fear, green bill at the expense of giving up major??
