Hi all,

NSC is behaving in very erratic manner. No offense to all the folks who are getting approval, but it is frustrating to see many with late applications get approval while many even from August 99 still waiting. If you have been waiting for NSC to approve you I-485 for more then 400 days, please post following details in response to this message.

Receipt Date:
Category (EB1, EB2, EB3):
Country of birth:

If there are lot of responses, then we can try to get some attention and get our issues noticed. For e.g. we can personally collectively to senators office and tell about this issues. We can also seek advice of some expert lawyers to see what avenues we have to voice these concerns.

Thanks.

Shailesh.

It seems inconceivable that you have not received your FP notice. Have you tried calling NSC to ask them the reason for not issuing the FP notice. Maybe a call is all that is needed to get them to get off their asses.

Dear S K Gala,
My data:
RD: April 06 \'00; ND: May 06 \'00
FP: Feb. 13 \'01
EB2; India
No RFE; No action yet.
I appreciate your effort in getting \'exposure\' to this issue. We have one processing time on our receipts, a different one in the AVM, and the processing reality is yet different and erratic with a very wide range.
Thank You & Good Luck!

Dear Folks,

Little analysis here. So far, only one person had RD 9/99 and even
he had been issued a RFE, meaning his case was not lost.
I don\'t know what Mr skgala\'s RD was?
Others have RDs about 03/00 and 04/00. Currently NSC is processing
06/00. What it means is, the frontline processing has RDs 06/00.
Some officers and some cases need more time as much as 2-3 months
from the fronline cases.
So, the backline cases are yours with RD 03/00 and 04/00.
Nothing abnormal here, and I saw here in the same board, last week
some cases are approved with RD 03/00 and 04/00 along with 06/00
cases. Right? I hope you guys understand what it means.
Your cases will be approved and should be approved in
next few weeks. If your cases are not approved in next 2 months
it would perfectly make sense to approach any office for help.

I would urge you not to distrupt NSC unless many of you are
with RDs in 9/99, 10/99, 11/99 and/or 12/99.

No offence meant here, please.

Thx

I was glad to see from one of the postings - either here or some other board that they are processing Sept 99 cases.

I guess we have similar dates.

My RFE was issued Dec 28, 00 , NSC AVM update 2/01.
As you said, if they are processing Sept. 99 cases for NSC that will be great.

RD 8/99
ND 9/99
AD -??
FP 7/00
RFE 2/01

Keep us posted if you learn more on this.

For Rama and gnagaraj,

I would suggest you both call NSC and let them know
you are waiting for long time than any one else.
Calling means, call them every 2-3 weeks. Calling NSC
helped to get approvals in 2 days for
two of my friends last month. They both had
RD 9/99.

Thanks 5thYearNSC. I am calling at regular intervals, once in two wks. for the last 8 weeks. Its always the same answer, the case is pending.
Infact my employer got bought out last week and thanks to AC21 I dont have to do 140 again.
I even contacted the senators office, but little help that way.

I guess I will persist calling.
