I am trying to file an AOS for my alien husband. I am already a citizen (through my father) but do not have my own certificate of naturalization. If I get my US Passport, that will serve as proof of citizenship.
In order to get my passport, I must show proof that I am my father's daughter. I am a Hmong refugee. I was born in Laos and immrigrated to the US. I have no birth certificate. What other document can I submit to establish my relationship with my father? Can I have someone (older relative, ect) write an affidavit establishing that?
