I got married in India about 20 days before the 485 got approved in January2002. But wife denied coming to the US because she did not want to leave her job in India in an Fortune 500 company. I could not get her a H4 nor could I add her on my 485 application. I took me six months to convince her to go the US and now planning to file an I-824 for spouse. The spouse is now in US on a B1 Visa through her company. Does anybody see any problems in this case getting approval in the consulate? Or Can I file for her 485 here in the states and keep her here.
Anybody riding the same boat?????????
