Here is the situation:
1- I have a pending I-485 and fingerprints were done in June 04.
2- called my attorney to make sure that my I-485 won't be approved soon, he told me not before Mid-2005.
3- I might get married sometime in January 2005, I know that I can bring my wife on H4 and then when she gets here in the US she will follow to join...
But
Due to the processing time they take at the consular in (Egypt), it might take like 3-4 months for her to get an H4, until then she won't be able to enter the States.
So is it required for her to be present in the US in order to follow-to-join my GC? I mean, could I just let her join my green card process once we get married immediatly ? (without filing H4) ??
thanks.
