I-485 Approval Notice Received on 9/22/2000 (at lawyer’s address)
Passport stamped at local Boston INS on 9/25/2000.

At local Boston INS, passport was stamped at the information counter itself - There was an immigration officer at this counter, who is also directing other individuals in this line with appropriate token/counter based on their type of service needs.

Lady immigration officer collected our I-485 approval notice (original), 2 photos, Form I-89, I-94 card (from our passports), any EADs (my spouse had one). No questions asked.
  - We got our I-89 form fingerprints done at the "forms counter" located out side of this processing room.

After stamping on our passports, immigration officer mentioned we should receive "Green Card" cards shortly (nothing specific as months, weeks etc.). She informed us to make sure our last names displayed properly on our home postal mailboxes. I did not ask her any more questions.

This ends a saga of my green card processing.

Good luck to your all.
