FOIPA request - Received today

Hi all-
I received a response from FBI today, it says "A search of the automated indices to our central records systems files located no records at FBI Headquarters response to your FOIPA"

Is this mean INS hasn't even requested/initiated my "Name Check" with FBI or it hasn't completed the background check therefore it does have any records with them. Please share your experience.

Name Check completed and returned by FBI: ??

To understand the difference between FOIPA and name check you should read the 3rd pdf file in Rahul's post: http://boards.immigration.com/showthread.php?t=136848
You have to request the status of your name check in order to find out if it was completed or not, or when it was initiated.
