Hello,
I am trying to find if a labor that was applied for me by a startup went through or not (2000 filing) . Is there a way I can do it.The company was based in California. I know using FOIA I can do that but don't know where to send it and whom to send it. The previous attorney has been totally un cooperative.

Any sample letters would be great help.

Shouldn't it go to DOl ? I didn't file a I140 or anything before it ,as the company folded before the labor was approved. But want to f ind it it came through
