It's past 1 yr since I applied for my I-485 and I recently did my FP. I am having a medical condition and am planning to apply for FMLA for 1 yr if my company allows. Will this in any way affect my GC from getting approved?
What happens if my company lays me off/fires me? Do I need to find a job in the same field and within what period of time? Can I change careers without affecting my GC?
