flood fund if impact our green card process

Our house basement got flooding in earlier April and
we think to apply a flooding fund that is for our flooding area
and we are in AC process.
My question if our applying for flood fund will affect my green card?

I don\'t think so. Since you live in that area, you most surely pay property tax and this fund will be considered as a relief fund as part of community relief fund. However, check with your lawyer if this is considered as getting benefit from Govt. funds...
