FL Timeframe for green card

My Fiance and i are getting married in august. and we will began the green card petition in that month too. were planning a trip to visit his family hometown summer june 2010. Anyone who live in south fl or know someone who live's here can tell me what's the time frame from filing. thanks alot

Please give more information ... is one of you a US citizen? If one of you is a citizen and the other is not, when did the noncitizen last enter the US, and in what immigration status? Who will be the sponsor ... one of you is sponsoring the spouse, or will another relative sponsor you both?
