My husband obtained citizenship and passport early last year. We finally took our first trip out of the States to Canada. He hasn't been out of the States since 1980 and I haven't been out at all. It was an experience in itself! We went only for a few hours to the aquarium in Vancouver and the night market for food tasting. We received what seemed like a million questions once we came back from Canada at the border check but it's all OK. We were allowed back after what seemed like hours of questioning. They must not have believed we went only for food.
