My friend got a new H1B visa and he needs to do the stamping.
He was working in Bangalore, India when he got the offer. So the employer who filed his H1-B mentioned that his consulate would be in Chennai. During this brief period my friend went to Dubai for an assignment (intra company transfer) and he cannot come back until he completes one year.
The employer who processed his H1-B had given a letter to UAE consulate and my friend has got an appointment there.
Now, my question would be, Is it oK to go to the Dubai consulate for visa stamping or should he come to India for stamping. Would appreciate your response. Thanks!
