First Time Stamping

Hi,

I came to US on J1 in 2000, obtained the waiver, got onto H1Bin 2002.Since , I did not travel out of the US,my H1B is not stamped in my passport.

Now, I am planning to go to India.What is the procedure to get my passport stamped with the H1B?I fall under Mumbai consulate.
Do I need to go personally to the consulate or can I use the drop-box?Any other points I should note?

For first time stamping u need to go in person and make an appointment in advance
