First time H1 Stamping - question

All,
My wife was on an F1 visa that expired July 2005. She was on an H1B since 2003, but never travelled out of US, so never got the h1 stamp.

The question that I have is, should she go back to home country (India) to get her first H1B stamp? or can we go to Canada or Mexico ?

Please advise.

You can go to Canada/Mexico for H1 stamping. Look at the respective forums for more information.
