Hi,
I recently completed MS but Iam working since june 2003(CPT &OPT), my h1 started on october 1st 2004.
I didnt receive my degree certificate yet and I want to go to canada(toronto) for H1 stamping(first time). will there be any problem if I dont have my MS certificate when I go there.I will be having the completed transcript and a letter from my school that I completed my masters. I hope it should work.
I have an appointment in toronto in Jan and I will be applying for canadian visa in couple of days.

could somebody please let me know more about the interview at the consulate, like questions asked. more about precautions to be taken...

Thanks.

HI Purab,

Can we go to canada for F1 to h1b multiple visa stamping? I heard that we should go to home country (India in my case) only.

If you know about this, please let me know.

Thanks,
Satish

Hi Purab

Hi purab,
I am residing in Canada as an international student, and I will be recieving my H1-B approval, so I would have to go for a visa stamping in toronto aswell.
uptill now according to my research every one in your case (living in States) are getting the visa stamped easily from toronto these days. American Embassy was a little strict about this a little while ago but not now.... the security clearance may take from 2-4 weeks though.

Hope this info helps

Its not a rule that you need to get the stamping from your home country, but make sure you have a good answer/reason with you if they ask you why you did not go to your home country for the stamping.
