first name changing?

Hi,Everyone:

I am new to this froum and i am so glad to be here. I was thinking to change my first name when i apply for my citizenship,is anybody here has expenrence before.

What is there to know. Check the box in the application, write down your new name. Walla, it's done.

Well, it doesn't actually get "done" until the oath ceremony - does it?

Done as in done your part. Nothing further for you to do, concerning the USCIS.

Just make sure you don't change your name from Bob Johnson to Mohammed Johnson........... or you'll risk the wrath of the name check demons
