first Interview cancelled 4 months still waiting.

Hi folks,
It is really frusrating...
I received first IL to be appear for interview 03/26/07 in feb 07. after 10 days i received latter that it is cancelled due to unforseen reason. after one week later i received 2nd IL to be appear for interview on 04/12/07. I received call on 04/10/2007
from USCIS HARTFORD CT that they dont have my file so Interview is cancelled, will let you know next date.
Since then i am waiting for IL? ?????????????
Mean while i made two trip to USCIS throuh infopass.
Now they are saying that They have my file there and it is in que for interview.
I ask how long it will take, They said CAN'T TELL!!!!!!

Anybody has similar expericance here at CT or anywhere....
What should i do? just wait or do i have any other options.....

please let me know GURUS.......

Many people have had luck contacting their Senator's office. You may want to send your Senator's office a detailed description of your issue, including events, dates and copies of any correspondence you may have. The more details the better, even possibly using names of the people you have talked to from USCIS.

Hopefully some of the GURUs on this board will be able to advise on the best mode of contacting your senator's office, whether through snail mail, email or phone, or possibly even a combination of these methods. Senator intervention has been known to seriously grease the oft rusty immigration pipeline, especially in cases such as yours where the paperwork has literally fallen off the "conveyor belt", and get you your desired objective pronto.

Did you get an official letter from them that second one is also cancelled? If not go take an info pass and make sure that it this has happened and find the status.

I didnt get confimation latter of cancelled interview. I will take another infopass and find out more.

By the way i just called USCIS at vermont. They said As it been almost 4 months since you last heard from USCIS, so we will send querry to USCIS HARTFORD regarding your case if you will not receive any update within 45 days, call us again..
