The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS) has
Service Centers located in Vermont, Nebraska, Texas, and California. Each
center processes a wide range of immigration benefit applications and
petitions. All applications and petitions are processed in the order in which
they are received.
Due to extremely high workloads at all of the Service
Centers, it may take longer to initiate processing of some immigration benefit
applications and petitions than others. This chart tells you which cases the
Service Centers are processing as of the date indicated. The date shown on this chart corresponds to the date the case was received by the Service Center.
