First H-4: Wait for new visa approval??

Hello,

  • I am (likely to) get married in Mar 06
  • My current H1-B expires in May 06
  • My current employer's approved I-797 for an H1 expires Sept 06
  • Company lawyer said they cannot file a new petition until Apr 06

Questions
----------
  • Do i get the visa appointment in Mar 06?
  • Or do i wait until the new visa petition gets approved? (Which would likely be late April or early May)
  • Does the fact that the visa petition expires in Sept 06 a cause of concern in getting H-4? (Current employer has also filed an approved LC, approved I-140 and I have a pending 485 application)
