We got an email from our attorney that they received fingerprint notices for my wife and I. We didn't get our copy yet. My wife (primary applicant) is scheduled for Oct 2nd and I am scheduled for Oct 6th. This is our first FP notice.

We recently changed our address and were hoping that it would trigger something and looks like it worked.

Apart from change of address we didn't do anything. Our online status was changed to the following after we changed our address and LUD changed to 08/27/2004.

"On August 26, 2004, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date..."

The message and the LUD are still the same.

Good to know about your FP notice.

It gives some hope to others who didn't get their FP yet.

One of my friend, 2004 concurrent filer, received her FP last week.

I got FP notice too.

I have not moved since I-485 filing. So address change is not a must. Although I inquired through faxes and letters, I think this wave of FP notices came on their own terms.

I agree, you don't have to change address.

In my case nothing has happened since we filed our 485s. Our address change was made on 8/26/2004 and the FP is dated 8/31/2004. It may just be a conicidence b'cos I see that a lot of ppl are getting FPs now. I have been scanning the 485 cases for my date (sep 17, 2002) and none of the statuses changed to "FP sent" in the last few weeks. I leave it to you guys to figure out.

Personally, I wouldn't have moved if my wife was not tired of living in the same apartment for the last 3.5 years.

Our LUD changed to 9/16/2004 and online message changed to the following

"On September 16, 2004, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued."

I guess that means they mailed our FP notices. Interestingly it took them 2 weeks to mail our copies of the FP notices
